Jeanette was born in Yonkers, NY on May 27, 1932 to the late Alexander and Elizabeth Cochran. Jeanette passed away two days before her 80th birthday at Cortlandt Healthcare Center.
Having graduated from Commerce High School in Yonkers, Jeanette worked as a bookkeeper throughout her life for various car dealerships. She then went to work for her son at Streamline Graphics in Manhattan until she retired to Myrtle Beach, SC, where she lived out her golden years before returning to New York. She was a devoted dog lover throughout her life and enjoyed reading and knitting.
Jeanette is survived by her four loving children, Lora Lupis (Joe), Gale Gutierrez (Kenny), Dawn Litrenta (Gino) and Gregg Junge, all of New York. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Frank Weller (Tammy), Michael Weller (Jen), Jason Weller, Kenney Gutierrez, Matthew Gutierrez, Rickey Gutierrez and Lauren Junge. Loving great-grandmother to Alex Weller, Jackson Weller, and Jason Weller. She is survived by her former husband James Santini, and predeceased by her husbands Everett Junge and Samuel Homa.
Visitation services will take place on Friday, June 1st from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Cargain Funeral Home (418 Route 6, Mahopac, NY 10541, 845-628-5655). Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 2nd at 9:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church (411 Route 6N Mahopac, NY). Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Yonkers, NY.
